Rules Changes for 2008

The Rules Committee is considering the following change(s):

• Reduced playoffs

  Option 1 - The top two teams from each division play 9 holes on a predetermined weekday evening shortly after the league ends. Low Team Net is League Champ.

  Option 2 - The three division winners and best 2nd place team play 18 holes on a predetermined Saturday shortly after the league ends. The #1 seed plays the #4 seed and the #2 seed plays the #3 seed on the front nine. The winners play for League Champ on the back nine. All matches are standard 42-point league matches.

  Option 3 - No playoffs. More money for the division winners.

  The RC will pick the course and date for the playoffs before the season. Playoff teams must be able to play on that date to be League Champ.

• Division limit extended - Approved
• Tournament prizes - Approved
• Unclaimed league prizes are forfeited - Approved
• Distance-measuring devices are allowed in league and tournament play - Approved
