Rules Changes for 2009

The Rules Committee is considering the following change(s):

• Split season

  First-half and second-half winners will receive prizes and go to the playoff match.

  Scheduling issues are the biggest concern. Unless we can come up with a solution for different number of weeks per half, BYE weeks, and schedule strength, the split season won't happen. We are considering other means to keep the late months interesting for non-contenders (monthly prizes for best won-lost records or low team net average). Your input is welcome.

  Dropped due to total lack of interest

• Divisions are limited to 17 teams.

  Dropped by majority vote of the RC

• Calloway golfers are not eligible for points.
